Junior Associate

Nahwegahbow Corbiere is a firm acting exclusively for First Nation individuals, communities, and organizations. We offer general representation for First Nations in all matters related to governance and specialized work in Aboriginal and Treaty Rights litigation and negotiations.

We are seeking a Junior Associate (2-3 years) to join our dynamic team of lawyers committed to serving First Nation communities. As a Junior Associate you will be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and will have:

  • Experience working with and knowledge of First Nation communities and organizations;

  • Strong communication, analytical, and research skills;

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently; and

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Litigation experience and knowledge of Anishinaabe laws and protocols will be considered an asset.
