2026 Indigenous Summer Law Student
The Law Society of British Columbia invites applications from Indigenous law students for a 16-week summer position working primarily with the Policy and Professional Regulation departments. This role offers meaningful opportunities to contribute to projects that support the public interest, advance reconciliation, and strengthen culturally safe regulatory practices
As permitted by Section 42 of the BC Human Rights Code, the position is open only to Indigenous persons. Candidates for the position may be required to provide qualification for the preference.[1] .You will join a team that includes Indigenous staff and allies who are committed to creating a culturally safe environment.
